Transmission Rear Mount Replacement (AWD)

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the exhaust system.
3. Support the transmission with a suitable jack and a block of wood.
4. Remove the transmission support to body mounting bolts.




5. Remove the transmission to support mounting bolts.
6. Remove the transmission mount from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the transmission mount to the vehicle.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

Important: The transmission mount bolts must be tightened in the proper order.

2. Tighten the left side transmission mount assembly bolt.

Tighten the bolts to 110 N.m (81 lb ft).

3. Tighten the right side transmission mount assembly bolt.

Tighten the bolts to 110 N.m (81 lb ft).

4. Install the transmission mount to body mounting bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 60 N.m (44 lb ft).

5. Remove the transmission support.
6. Install the exhaust system.
7. Lower the vehicle.
