Rear Seat Number 1 Back Replacement - Right Side

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement (Rear Seat Replacement) .
2. Remove the right seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement - Right Side (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement - Right Side) .




3. Remove the pivot trim cover screws (1).
4. Remove the outer pivot covers.




5. Disconnect the seat release cables (2) from the seat adjuster.




6. Disconnect the J-channel retainers (1).
7. Remove the seat back retaining bolts (2).




8. Remove the seat back retaining bolt (1).
9. Remove the seat back from the seat adjuster.



Installation Procedure

1. Install the seat back on to the seat adjuster.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the seat back retaining bolts (2).

Tighten the bolts to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).





3. Install the seat back retaining bolt (1).

Tighten the bolt to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).





4. Connect the seat release cables (2) to the seat adjuster.




5. Connect the J-channel retainers (1).




6. Install the pivot cover screws (1).

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

7. Install the seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement - Right Side (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement - Right Side) .
8. Install the seat into the vehicle. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement (Rear Seat Replacement) .
