Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the cross car brace. Refer to Cross Vehicle Brace Replacement (Cross Vehicle Brace Replacement) .




2. Disengage the cover/shield from the ball studs by pulling up firmly on the right rear and left front of the engine cover.
3. Remove the engine cover/sight shield.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the engine cover/sight shield over the intake manifold so the grommets are aligned with the ball studs.
2. Press the engine cover/sight shield down firmly near the ball studs in order to install the engine cover/sight shield.
3. Install the cross car brace. Refer to Cross Vehicle Brace Replacement (Cross Vehicle Brace Replacement) .
