Engine Cooling Fan Replacement (LH2 - Heavy Duty Cooling)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the auxiliary cooling fan assembly to condenser upper mounting bolts.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair) .




3. Remove the front air deflector retainers.
4. Remove the front air deflector.




5. Disconnect the auxiliary cooling fan assembly electrical connectors.
6. Remove the auxiliary cooling fan assembly to condenser lower mounting bolts.
7. Remove the auxiliary cooling fan assembly.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the auxiliary cooling fan assembly.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the auxiliary cooling fan assembly to condenser mounting bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 6.5 N.m (58 lb in).

3. Connect the auxiliary cooling fan assembly electrical connectors.
4. Install the front air deflector.




5. Install the front air deflector retainers.
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Install the auxiliary cooling fan assembly to condenser upper mounting bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 6.5 N.m (58 lb in).
