Heater Core Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the HVAC module. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement (Left Hand Drive) (HVAC Module Assembly Replacement (Left Hand Drive))HVAC Module Assembly Replacement (Right Hand Drive) (HVAC Module Assembly Replacement (Right Hand Drive)) .
2. Remove the heater core pipe bracket screw.
3. Remove the heater core pipe bracket.




4. Remove the heater core out of the HVAC module.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the heater core into the HVAC module.
2. Install the heater core pipe bracket.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice .

3. Install the heater core pipe bracket screw.

Tighten the screws to 1 N.m (9 lb in).

4. Install the HVAC module. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement (Left Hand Drive) (HVAC Module Assembly Replacement (Left Hand Drive))HVAC Module Assembly Replacement (Right Hand Drive) (HVAC Module Assembly Replacement (Right Hand Drive)) .
