Fuel Line Replacement - Chassis

Removal Procedure




1. Disconnect the fuel feed line (1). Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Service and Repair.




2. Disengage the fuel feed line (1) from the plastic retainer (2).
3. Remove the fuel pressure sensor. Refer to Fuel Pressure Sensor Replacement - Fuel Feed Pipe Fuel Pressure Sensor Replacement - Fuel Feed Pipe.




4. Disconnect the fuel feed line quick connect (1). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Procedures.
5. Disengage the fuel feed line (3) from the plastic retainers (2) and remove the fuel feed line.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the fuel feed line (3) into the plastic retainers (2).
2. Connect the fuel feed line quick connect (1). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Procedures.
3. Install the fuel pressure sensor. Refer to Fuel Pressure Sensor Replacement - Fuel Feed Pipe Fuel Pressure Sensor Replacement - Fuel Feed Pipe.




4. Engage the fuel feed line (1) to the plastic retainer (2).




5. Connect the fuel feed line (1). Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Service and Repair.
