ACCELERATOR PUMPS ON QUADRAJET CARBURETOR (1981-1982 4.1L V-6)

Viton accelerator pumps are available from GMWDD for service when a customer is using a high aromatic fuel, gasohol or has dry-out conditions stemming from long periods of non-operation. Viton service replacement pumps are identified as H.D. (Heavy Duty) in the Parts Book. The Viton pump is a blue, thin lip design with no garter spring (refer to Figure 1). The carburetors affected by this service part are listed below:
