Cruise Control Vacuum Vent Solenoid: Description and Operation

The vacuum control valve operates in response to a signal from the ECM or electronic controller and opens when the system is engaged. When the valve is opened, vacuum is available to the servo unit solenoid valve to regulate the servo unit. When the cruise control is disengaged, the vacuum control valve is closed.
