A/T - 200R4 Harsh Shift 1-2 Shift at Any Speed

SUBJECT: 200-4R

COMPLAINT: Very harsh 1-2 shift, at any speed.

CAUSE:




The cause may be that the # 8 check ball has peened its way through the separator plate, or at least damaged the seat.

CORRECTION:
The only correction is to replace the separator plate which is made of a harder material.
