SUBJECT: TRANSAXLE CONVERTER COVER INTERFERENCE NOISE

MODELS AFFECTED: 1985 AND 1986 CIMARRON EQUIPPED WITH A 125C TRANSAXLE

Some 1985 and 1986 Cimarrons equipped with a 125C transaxle may exhibit a noise generated by an interference condition between the plastic cover and the flexplate.

TRANSAXLE CONVERTER COVER:

The condition can be eliminated by trimming the converter cover in the area of interference as illustrated below.

For warranty purposes, use operation number T6163 for .4 hours.
