Elimination of the Reverse Reaction Drum Plate




The reverse reaction drum plate is used on the 1984-86 model transmissions. It is a narrow thin steel plate that is installed into the reverse reaction drum, into the same spline the 2nd clutch drum uses.

Beginning in 1987, all models no longer use this plate.
