Antenna: Service and Repair

ANTENNA REMOVAL

Radio Power Antenna Mounting:

NOTE: Before beginning the removal process turn the front wheels all the way to the right for easier access.

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Antenna lead in from radio or splitter (access gained by partially lowering right hand sound insulting panel).
3. Electrical connector for antenna motor.
4. Rear portion of wheel opening shield (7) and push aside.
5. Two screws from top of antenna tube (5).
6. Two screws from lower mounting bracket (4).
7. Grommet from body (6).
8. Antenna assembly with lead in and wire harness (I).

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Two screws at top of mast (5).
2. Two screws into lower bracket (4).
3. Grommet into body (6).
4. Wheel opening shield (7).
5. Antenna lead in (and sound insulating panel).
6. Electrical connector.
7. Battery negative cable.

NOTE: To replace antenna assembly follow procedures with service replacement part.
