MAX. A/C

Air is directed to A/C outlets with bleed to heater outlets. Air inlet door slowly opens when ``Auto'' is selected which provides 80 per cent recirculated air. In ``ECON'' this door remains closed.

A/C

Air is directed to A/C outlets with bleed to heater outlets. If previously in ``Auto'' Max A/C mode, air inlet door will slowly close to provide 100 per cent outside air.

INTERMEDIATE


Air is directed to defogger outlets with bleed to heater outlets. This mode is used to change from A/C to heater mode or from heater to A/C mode. It will not occur if ``Hi Fan'' is selected as system will go directly from A/C to heater or heater to A/C.

HEATER

Air is directed to heater outlets with bleed to defogger outlets.

OFF

With system at "OFF" the blower remains "OFF" but any air that enters as the vehicle is moving is directed as if in the ``heater'' mode. The discharge air temperature will continue to be controlled by the air mix door.

FRONT DEFOG

Air is directed to defogger outlets with bleed to heater outlets. This mode is not allowed to remain after the key is turned "OFF." The system will switch to ``Auto'' if ``Ft. Def'' was previously active.
