Body Control Module: Description and Operation

The body computer module (BCM) contains a microprocessor that provides central control over the other system components. All system sensors and switches are monitored by the BCM which is located behind the glove box opening on Deville and Fleetwood models or behind the Climate Control/Driver Information Center on Eldorado and Seville models. Based on these system inputs and program instructions contained within computer memory, the BCM calculates the proper outputs to provide accurate control of the electronic climate control.
