III. Intermittent Harsh Part Throttle 3-2 Shift

Service Procedure:

An intermittent harsh 3-2 shift may be caused by a broken 3-2 line control retainer (435). Refer to Figure 4. Remove the transaxle side cover to access the 3-2 line control valve and, if necessary, replace a broken retainer with the part listed below. Also ensure the 3-2 fine control valve moves freely in its bore.
