General System Description
The Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) module incorporates most of the air conditioning components into one assembly. The Climate Control System automatically regulates and maintains the driver selected in-car termperatures from "MAX cool" 16°C (60°F) to "MAX heat" 32°C (90°F) regardless of the changes in the outside air temperature.
The Climate Control Panel (CCP) is used for selecting an in-car comfort level. The other main components that comprise the Climate Control system, are the Body Control Module (BCM), Electronic Control Module (ECM), programmer, power module, temperature sensors, Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) module, and the refrigeration system.
