Chart 7 Insufficient Heat at 90 Degrees

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
For insufficient heat, check to make sure the air mix door moves to the proper position, that there is adequate coolant flow through the heater core, the heater water valve is operating properly and the blower is fully operational.


AIR MIX DOOR ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
1. Remove glove box to gain access to programmer.
2. Lift up on air mix door link to release it from programmer arm.
3. Key "ON", select 90 AUTO on Climate Control Panel (CCP) and wait for programmer arm to stop moving.
4. Pull air mix door to max heat position.
5. With door at mechanical limit of travel (max heat) snap link back into programmer arm.
6. Visually check air mix door movement by selecting different temperature settings.
