Chart 8 Insufficient Cooling at 60 Degrees

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
In sufficient cooling could be caused by improper air delivery (air door molding), the lack of R-12 refrigerant in the cooling system or faulty programmer controls. Check each cause carefully for proper diagnosis.

AIR MIX DOOR ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
1. Remove glove box to gain access to programmer.
2. Lift up on air mix door link to release it from programmer arm.
3. Key "ON", select 90 AUTO on Climate Control Panel (CCP) and wait for programmer arm to stop moving.
4. Pull air mix door to max beat position.
5. With door at mechanical limit of travel (max heat) snap link back into programmer arm.
6. Visually check air mix door movement by selecting different temperature settings.
