Headlamp: Testing and Inspection

HEADLIGHTS WITH SENTINEL: TWILIGHT

SYSTEM CHECK
1. With car located in daylight, turn Ignition Switch to "RUN". Move Twilight Sentinel to mid-point.
2. Cover Twilight Photocell (top center of dash) with cardboard.
^ Headlights come on after 10 to 30 seconds.
^ Park Lights come on.
3. Remove Cardboard.
^ Headlights go out after 10 to 30 seconds.
^ Park lights go out.
4. Cover Twilight Photocell with cardboard and ignition switch off.
^ Headlights and Park Lights remain on for the amount of time indicated on the Driver Information Center (DIC).
