Body Control Module: Description and Operation

Body Control Module:

The Body Control Module (BCM) contains a microprocessor that provides central control over all the other components in the system. All system switches and sensors are monitored by the BCM, which is located in the center of the I/P behind the Climate Control Driver Information Center (CCDIC).

Based upon these system inputs, together with the program instructions contained within the BCM memory, the computer calculates the proper outputs to provide accurate control of the climate control and other convenience features.
