Status Lights/ Engine Data
Status LightsYou can use the status lights on the climate control panel to check various switches, sensors and computer functions. Figure 7 shows the early and figure 8 shows the late type status displays. Through these displays you can check for computer ground to the T.C.C., 4th gear signal to the computer, etc.
Engine Data
In the engine data display you can get sensor output such as throttle position, engine RPM, vehicle speed, etc. On both the early and late type you must wait for a code .7.0 (system ready). On the early type press the reset button on fuel average display. The display will show a code .9.0 once it enters the engine data mode. By pressing the instant average button you can increase in parameters. Use the reset button to decrease parameters.

ECM Data
On the late type, you use the Lo Fan button to enter the ECM Data Mode. The computer will show an E.9.0 in the fuel average display when you have successfully entered the ECM Data Mode. Now use the HI Fan button to increase parameters, and the Lo Fan button to decrease parameters.
