No Drive In Reverse or Slips In Reverse

1. Binding or improperly adjusted throttle valve cable.

2. Improperly adjusted manual linkage.

3. Binding throttle valve.

4. Throttle valve limit valve binding.

5. Binding line bias valve.

6. Reverse boost valve binding in pressure regulator bore.

7. Reverse/3rd or Lo/Reverse check ball missing or seat in spacer plate damaged.

8. Reverse clutch.

a. Cracked piston, or missing inner or outer seals.

b. Clutch plates burned.

c. Missing or damaged reverse oil seal in case.

d. Missing clutch plate or valve plate.

9. Center support

a. Loose or missing center support attaching bolts

b. Blocked or undrilled passages.

c. Porosity.

10. Direct clutch housing.

a. Cracked housing or piston.

b. Missing or damaged inner or outer piston seal.

c. Missing or damaged check ball in either the direct clutch housing or the piston.

d. Plates burned.

11. Plugged Lo/Reverse overrun clutch orifice in spacer plate.
