SUBJECT: Center Support Bolt




A loose center support may cause clutch failures in the THM 400 transmission. A new design center support bolt (See figure) has gone into production to help increase torque retention, beginning December 1987 (Julian date 348). The new design center support bolt will retrofit all models.
