SUBJECT: FRAME REPLACEMENT

MODELS AFFECTED: 1985-1986 DE VILLES AND FLEETWOODS

Service frames, P/N 14074072, for 1985 and 1986 De Villes and Fleetwoods, will be superseded by the 1987 frame when current service stock is depleted. Dealers ordering the old part number will receive:

1. The 1987 Frame, P/N 25531038
2. A Right-Hand Hydraulic Engine Mount, P/N 25525645
3. A Right-Hand Hydraulic Transaxle Mount, P/N 25525644
4. A Right-Hand Mount to Cradle Bracket, P/N 25524600
5. A Right-Hand Frame to Mount Bracket, P/N 1633780

Figure 1 - Vibration Absorber and Brackets:

All of these parts should be used when replacing the frame assembly. On vehicles equipped with the vibration absorber, see Figure 1, the absorber and brackets should be removed and discarded.
