Washer Pump Diagnosis

Check washer pump operation as follows before removing washer pump from car:

1. Disconnect cover harness connector from wiper motor cover connector.






2. Apply +12 volts to terminal 4 as shown in image.

If washer pump motor does not run or does not pump solvent, replace washer pump.

Switch Checks:

If washer pump motor runs and pumps solvent, the fault is in the wiper switch. Refer to chart for switch tests.
