Door Jamb & Door Ajar Circuits:

DESCRIPTION
Code B118 will set if the door jamb switch indicates that the door is open, while the door ajar switch indicate all doors closed.

TEST DESCRIPTION
The numbers below refer to circled numbers on the diagnostic chart:
1. With all doors closed BI05 should indicate a "Hi", if not the door jamb switches and circuit are suspect.
2. These steps check for proper ajar status with doors closed.
3. These steps check for proper ajar status with doors open.



NOTE ON INTERMITTENTS
An open door jam status (grounded circuit 156) with all doors closed will cause this code. Additionally an open in circuit 147 or 158 could also cause this code. Inspect harnesses and switches for intermittent problems.
