Special Policy Description

SUBJECT: INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) TRANSMISSION SHIFT INDICATOR

MOOEL: 1986 ELDORADOS AND SEVILLES

Some early model 1986 Eldorados and Sevilles were produced without an operative transmission shift indicator display on the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). This Vacuum Florescent (VF) display provides an additional visual check of the transmission position selected by the driver by highlighting one of the seven possible selections (PRND321).

This particular enhancement will be provided at no charge to all owners of 1986 Eldorados and Sevilles, per the Vehicles Involved section of this bulletin.
