SUBJECT: FUEL FILLER DOOR DOESN'T OPEN PROPERLY

FIGURE 1 - FUEL FILLER DOOR ASSIST SPRING:

Some Allantes may experience a condition of the fuel filler door not springing open when the release button is pressed. This condition may be caused by a missing "n-shaped" assist spring contained in the latch assembly. To repair this condition, install a new assist spring, P/N 20355094, as shown in the Figure 1.

For warranty purposes, use Labor Operation T6247 at .2 hour.
