NOTICE: When removing a door trim panel or switch plate, the ignition switch must be in the off position. This will eliminate the possibility of shorting out the switch if a screwdriver, awl or metal object is used to remove the switch from the harness.


REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Switch plate (power window system) using a thin-bladed tool between armrest pad and switch plate to disengage retainer on switch plate from armrest.
2. Wire harness from switch on switch plate (power window system)
3. Screw at front of armrest pad to armrest base (power window system)
4. Armrest pad by pulling straight inboard.
5. Reflector (1) using a thin-bladed tool between reflector and armrest to disengage tabs on reflector from armrest.
6. Screw (2)
7. Screws (3)
8. Lower armrest cover (4)
9. Screws (5)
10. Armrest (6)
11. Window regulator handle if present.
12. Screw (7)
13. Inside handle escutcheon (8) by disconnecting wire connector (if present).
14. Upper trim panel
15. Screw (9)
16. Escutcheons (10) or ends of assist strap.
17. Screws(11)
18. Escutcheon (12)
19. Screws (13)
20. Retainer (14)
21. Trim panel (15), by disengaging fasteners on trim panel from holes in door inner panel using tool BT-7323 or equivalent between trim panel and door inner panel.


INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Shoulder belt through slot in trim panel.
2. Trim panel (15), by aligning fasteners on trim panel to holes in door inner panel and engaging fasteners.

5. Escutcheon (12)
6. Screws(11)
7. Escutcheons (10) or ends of assist strap (9).
8. Screw (9)
9. Upper trim panel
10. Inside handle escutcheon (8), making sure to connect electrical connector, if present.
11. Screw (7)
12. Window regulator handle if present.
13. Armrest (6)
14. Screws (5)
15. Lower armrest cover (4)
16. Screws (3)
17. Screw (2)
18. Reflector (1)
19. Armrest pad
20. Screw at front of armrest pad to armrest base (power window system).
21. Wire harness connector to switch on switch plate on armrest pad (power window system).
22. Switch plate to armrest pad (power window system).
