Rear Door Regulator Attachments:

The doors incorporate a lightweight tape drive regulator design. The following regulators have been released for service.

1. Rear door electric. (C and H styles).
2. Rear door manual. (H styles).
3. Rear door electric - 6CH23-33 styles.

The various regulators require different length tapes. However, there will be only one tape - 1385mm (54 1/2") - released for service which must be cut to length. The following list is for the lengths of tape needed for each regulator.

1. Electric - C and H Styles - 697 mm (27-1/2").
2. Electric - 6CH23-33 styles - 1046 mm (41-3/16").
3. Manual - H style - 737 mm (29").

In addition to the three regulators, the following parts will be serviceable:

1. Tape (cut to length needed)
2. Sash.
3. Guide.
4. Block.
5. Gear.
6. Motor.
7. Regulator assembly.


Remove or Disconnect
1. Door trim panel
2. Water deflector.
3. Any items attached to door inner panel which are blocking access hole for regulator removal from door.
4. Screws - regulator to glass sash channel.
5. Block glass in full-up position.
6. Rivets, five required, using 6.3 mm (1/4") drill bit.
7. Wire harness from motor.
8. Regulator through rear access hole.


Install or Connect
1. Regulator inside door
2. Wire harness to motor
3. Regulator to door inner panel using 1/4" peel type rivets, five required.
