NOTICE: When removing a door trim panel or switch plate, the ignition switch must be in the off position. This will eliminate the possibility of shorting out the switch if a screwdriver, awl or metal object is used to remove the switch from the harness.


REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Switch plate (power window system) using a thin-bladed tool between armrest pad and switch plate to disengage retainer on switch plate from armrest pad.
2. Wire harness from switch on switch plate (power window system).
3. Screw at front of armrest pad to armrest base (power window system).
4. Armrest pad by pulling straight inboard.

6. Screws (2)
7. Armrest by disengaging from seat belt through slot provided.
8. Window regulator handle if present.
9. Screw (3)
10. Escutcheon (4) by disconnecting wire connector (if present) and removing escutcheon from inside handle.
11. Upper trim panel
12. Screw (5)
13. Escutcheon (6)
14. Screws (7)
15. Retainer (8)
16. Escutcheons (10) using a thin-bladed tool or pull back on assist strap ends (9).
17. Screws (10)
18. Shoulder belt (11) through slot in trim panel.
19. Trim panel (12) by disengaging fasteners on trim panel from holes in door inner panel using tool BT-7323A or equivalent between trim panel and door inner panel.


INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Seat belt and shoulder belt through slots in trim panel.
2. Trim panel (12) by aligning fasteners on trim panel to holes in door inner panel and engaging fasteners.
3. Screws (10)
4. Assist strap ends (9) or escutcheons.
5. Retainer (8)
6. Screws (7)
7. Escutcheon (6)
8. Screw (5)
9. Upper trim panel
10. Pull handle escutcheon (4) making sure to connect electrical connector, if present.
11. Screw (3)
12. Window regulator handle, if present.
13. Armrest to trim panel, sliding seat belt through slot provided.
14. Screws (2)
15. Screws (1)
16. Armrest pad to trim panel by pushing pad straight outboard.
17. Screw at front of armrest pad to armrest base (power window system).
18. Wire harness connector to switch on switch plate on armrest pad (power window system).
19. Switch plate to armrest pad (power window system).
