Antenna: Service and Repair

ANTENNA ASSEMBLY - REMOVAL

Radio Power Antenna Mounting:

NOTE: Before beginning the removal process turn front wheels all the way to right for easier access.

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Right hand sound insulating panel.
3. Antenna lead in from radio.
4. Electrical connector for antenna motor.
5. Rear portion of wheel opening shield and push aside.
6. One screw from top of antenna tube.
7. Two screws from lower mounting bracket.
8. Grommet from body.
9. Antenna assembly with lead in and wire harness.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. One screw at top of mast.
2. Two screws into lower bracket.
3. Grommet into body.
4. Wheel opening shield.
5. Antenna lead in.
6. Electrical connector.
7. Right hand sound insulating panel.
8. Battery negative cable.

NOTE: To replace antenna assembly follow procedures with service replacement part.
