OSM Adress Error:
DESCRIPTION:
Because OSM #7 has three address pins, it is possible, however rare, for OSM #7 to lose power to two address pins and have the same address as either OSM #2 or OSM #4. When the BCM sends a command on the data line to OSM #2 or OSM #4. If such an addressing failure exists, a lighting fault results because two OSM's Care responding to one BCM command. Also, when the BCM sends a command on the data line to OSM #7, during such an addressing failure, a lighting fault results because there isn't an OSM available to respond to the command. The table below lists the CCDIC messages and symptoms of these conditions.

L207 AND L202:
1. Right Brake/Turn/Tail Lamps Out
2. Left Brake/Turn/Tail Lamps Out
L209 AND L204:
1. Right Brake/Turn/Tail Lamps Out
2. Left Back-Up Lamp Out
3. Center Brake Lamp Out
4. License and Rear Side Marker Lamps Out
SYMPTOMS:
L207 AND L202:
1. Two right and left rear outer lamps out.
2. Right and left turn signal and hazard indicators do not flash.
L209 AND L204:
1. Two left rear outer lamps out.
2. Right turn signal and hazard indicators do not flash.
