A-9 Addressing Problem
Chart A-9:
OSM Adress Error:
DESCRIPTION
Code L208 and L209 or L208 and L205 indicate a loss of power to an OSM address pin. When such an addressing failure exists on pin D of OSM # 13, its address becomes the same as that of OSM #9. When an addressing failure exists on Pin C of OSM # 13, its address becomes the same as that of OSM #5. Therefore, when the BCM sends a command on the data line the correctly addressed OSM and the mis-addressed OSM try to respond resulting in a lighting fault. When the BCM sends a command to the mis-addressED OSM, there isn't an OSM available to respond resulting in a lighting fault. The table below lists the CCDIC messages and symptoms of these conditions.
