Outputs

The PCM outputs option provides the ability to cycle PCM controlled outputs. The DIC display identifies the solenoid or relay, and the state that the PCM is commanding that device. HI indicates that the solenoid or relay is de-energized, and LO indicates that the solenoid or relay is energized. The PCM outputs tests can only be done at key ON engine OFF

A brief summary of each output is provided below:

EO00 No outputs are cycled.

EO01 The canister purge solenoid.

EO02 The Viscous Converter Clutch (VCC) solenoid.

EO03 Electronic Vacuum Regulator Valve (EVRV).

E006 Idle Speed Control motor (ISC).

EO07 The cruise control vent solenoid.

EO08 Cruise vacuum solenoid.

EO09 Transmission 2-3 shift solenoid.

EO10 Transmission 2-3 shift solenoid.

EO20 A/C clutch control relay.

EO99 Cycle all outputs.
