Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair

Pictorial View:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
- Electrical connector.
- Carefully back out MAT sensor.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
- Coat the sensor with a non-hardening sealer. The sealer should be applied to the sensor threads.
- Sensor in engine. Torque to 20 Nm (15 ft lbs).
- Electrical connector.

LOCATION
LH top of engine, in rear of intake plenum.
