Temperature Switch (Warning Indicator): Testing and Inspection

Jumper the LT GRN (37) wire at the Engine Metal Temperature Switch to ground. Switch the ignition to RUN and observe the STOP ENGINE-TEMP Indicator.

^ If the Indicator lights, replace the Engine Metal Temperature Switch.

^ If the Indicator does not light, check the LT GRN (37) and WHT/GRN (37) wire and the Indicator bulb for an open. If OK, exchange the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC).
