Trouble Code Diagnosis

DESCRIPTION:
Use this trouble tree if two or more dataline codes (codes E047, B333, B334, B335, B336, or B337) are set.
Before starting any diagnosis, the Self Diagnostic System Check must be followed completely.
TEST DESCRIPTION: Numbers below refer to circled numbers on the diagnostic chart.
1. This step checks for an open in the data line by measuring the resistance of the loop. The initial steps ensure that the BCM RAP has timed out and that no voltage signals will be present on the data line while the resistance is measured.
2. A reading of more than 10 ohms indicates an open in the data circuit. By checking which codes are set, we can determine which devices have been isolated from the BCM, and therefore, the locations of the opens in the data circuit.
