SUBJECT: BOSE CASSETTE (OPTION UU2) RADIO WHINE OR WHISTLE NOISE


MODELS AFFECTED: 1991 ELDORADOS AND SEVILLES


Some 1991 Eldorados and Sevilles equipped with Bose cassette radios built before VIN breakpoints 604897 and 804918 respectively, may experience a whine or whistle type noise when tuned to FM radio stations. This condition may be caused by an internal radio condition.


To repair this condition exchange the receiver following the procedure in DSIB 91-I-1.
