SUBJECT: INTERMITTENT CODE B110, AND/OR ERRATIC TEMPERATURE READINGS, OR ELECTRONIC CLIMATE CONTROL TOO HOT/COLD
MODELS AFFECTED: 1991 ELDORADOS AND SEVILLES
Some 1991 Eldorados built before VIN breakpoint 602439 and Sevilles built before VIN breakpoint 802449 may experience one or more of the following conditions:
^ Intermittent code B110
^ Erratic outside temperature sensor readings
^ Electronic climate control too warm or too cold at times
These conditions may be caused by a bad connection at the Outside Air Temperature (OAT) sensor under hood. Early vehicles wdre built with male terminals on both sides of the OAT sensor (male terminals on the sensor and male terminals on the harness). To repair this condition replace the two male terminals on the harness with female terminals, P/N 12010182 (included in the terminal repair kit J-38125).
