SUBJECT: SERVICE INFORMATION MANUAL UPDATE - SECTION 8A, FUSE IDENTIFICATION AND CIRCUIT CORRECTIONS


Please update your 1991 DeVille and Fleetwood Service Information Manual, pages 8A-10-1, 8A-11-1, 8A-20-2, and 8D1-28 to include the following changes.

8A-10-1:

Change MAXI(R)-Fuse 4 that feeds circuit 1448 to MAXI(R)-Fuse 3.

Change MAXI(R)-Fuse 3, 40 amp that feeds circuit 1450 to MAXI(R)-Fuse 5, 60 amp. The fuse locations, numbers, and ratings are correct on page 8A-10-0.


8A-11-1:

Fuse 5 in the relay center is used to power the:

^ Transmission shift solenoids A and B
^ EGR solenoid
^ Canister purge solenoid
^ Power steering switch
^ VCC brake switch
^ A/C compressor relay

The fuse 5 power feeds on page 8A-11-1 are correct.


8A-20-2 and 8D1-28:

The fuel pump prime circuit (circuit 490) is connected to splice S222, not pin 3, of the fuel pump relay.
