System Check

1. Open trunk with vehicle key and raise lid.

Normal Result:
^ Striker rises to maximum height and TRUNK Warning Indicator lights.

2. Lower trunk lid slowly until lock hook latches striker.

Normal Results:
^ Striker retracts pulling trunk lid closed.
^ TRUNK Warning Indicator turns off.

Caution: To avoid injury, keep fingers and clothing away from edge of trunk lid while it is closing.
