On fuel injected models, a cable is used in this system. The servo unit positions the throttle linkage through the use of a cable. To adjust this cable turn engine to the ``Off'' position. Retract idle speed control (ISC) motor plunger, throttle lever must not touch ISC plunger. Connect cruise control cable to servo hole blade, Fig. 3, that allows minimum slack.
On carbureted models, a rod assembly is used to control cruise control speed. Adjustment is made with engine Off, carburetor lever on slow idle screw and Idle Load Control (ILC), fully retracted. Adjust rod length to obtain the least amount of slack, Fig. 2.
