Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

1. Check I/P Fuse Block Fuse 7 by visual inspection.
2. Check Relay Center Fuse 5 by operating A/C and listening for compressor to engage.
3. With the idle speed motor fully retracted, check the Cruise Control Servo and throttle linkage for minimum slack.
4. Check the vacuum hoses for holes or kinks.
5. If the Cruise Indicator does not operate with the Cruise Control engaged, turn Cruise Switch ON, ground terminal A1 of BCM connector C1, and turn Ignition Switch to RUN. If indicator does not light, check bulb and related wiring. If indicator lights, check terminal contact. If OK, replace BCM.
