SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS

^ Perform the PASS-Key II System Check. This initial System Check will lead you to three basic PASS-Key II malfunctions.
- Chart #1, "Engine Does Not Crank."
- Chart #2, "Engine Cranks (With Starter Enable Relay Bypassed)."
- Chart #3, "PASS KEY FAULT" Indicator Stays 'ON.'"

Important:

^ Perform the Diagnostic Circuit Check described to be certain no trouble codes are stored in ECM memory which may lead to misdiagnosis, specifically Diagnostic Trouble Code 46, indicating a problem in the PASS-Key II Fuel Enable circuit.
^ Check for CCM DTCs 30, 31, 32, 33, 42 and 43 Repair these first after any ECM DTCs.
