Pull Down System

Note: This Section assumes mechanical operation is normal, with no interference.

^ If "TRUNK AJAR" Indicator is on at all times, check CKT 146 for a short to ground.
^ Check I/P Fuse #36. If open, repair short to ground in CKT 138.
^ Check I/P Fuse #11. If open, repair short to ground in CKT 39.
^ Deck Lid Lock must securely lock to Striker for proper operation of Pull-Down Unit.
^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check.
^ Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems.
