Keyless Entry: Service and Repair

Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Programming Connector:

1. Reposition rear compartment front trim assembly to access the programming connector located at left of rear compartment.

2. Turn ignition switch "ON."

3. Ground the programming connector.
^ The door lock assemblies and rear compartment lid lock assembly will cycle indicating the receiver assembly is in program mode.

4. Depress any button (only once) on the transmitter assembly.
A. The door lock assemblies and rear compartment lid lock assembly will cycle once confirming that the transmitter code is programmed.
B. Any transmitter code that was previously programmed has been erased.
C. The receiver assembly is now programmed to the transmitter assembly.

5. If programmed a receiver assembly to match a second transmitter assembly, depress any button (only once) on the second transmitter assembly. This must be done before the program connector is disconnected.
^ The door lock assemblies and rear compartment lid lock assembly will cycle once confirming that the second transmitter code is programmed.

6. Disconnect the programming connector.
^ The system will not operate if the ground connection is not removed.

7. Verify operation of transmitter assembly.

8. Reposition rear compartment front trim assembly.
