TCS Pilot Valves

NOTE: The Anti-lock Brake System/Traction Control System is an option on this vehicle.

There are two pilot valves within the brake pressure modulator (BPM) valve. These valves isolate the master cylinder so the pump motor can build brake fluid pressure to the front brakes during traction control. Unlike the ABS solenoid, the pilot valves do not modulate. They are normally open and then closed during traction control operation.
