Coolant "Temp" Indicator Not Working Properly

PROCEDURE
If the Coolant "TEMP" Warning Indicator comes "ON" with the Engine running, but not overheated:
^ Remove the connector to the Coolant Temperature Switch. If the Warning Indicator goes "OFF," install a new Coolant Temperature Switch.
^ If the Warning Indicator remains "ON," check the DK GRN wires from the Coolant Temperature Switch and the Ignition Switch for a short to ground. Also check that the I/P circuit has no cracks or flaws and is mating properly with its connector.

If the Coolant "TEMP" Warning Indicator does not come "ON" while starting the Engine and the bulb is good:
^ Ground the DK GRN wire at terminal "C" of C1 at the Ignition Switch. If the indicator comes "ON," the circuit is good. Replace the Ignition Switch.
^ If the indicator does not come "ON," check the DK GRN wire and the Instrument Cluster for an open.
