Brake Lamp: Description and Operation

CIRCUIT OPERATION
Voltage is applied at all times from I/P Fuse #37 to the BTSI/Stop Light Switch Assembly. When the brake pedal is depressed, voltage is applied from the BTSI/Stop Switch Assembly and Turn/Hazard Switch to CKT 18 and CKT 19, turning "ON" the LH and RH Tail/Stop/Turn Lights.

Voltage is supplied at all times through I/P Fuse #37 to the BTSI/Stop Lights Switch Assembly. When the brake pedal is depressed, voltage is applied from the BTSI/Stop Lights Switch Assembly to CKT 820 and the CHMSL, turning "ON" the CHMSL. CHMSL is not affected by the Turn/Hazard Switch Assembly.
